• Training should be a planned, goal-oriented process, in which you improve your ability to perform, execute and behave in the climbing context. Easier said than done, in a world of an information overflow and in a complex sport, the right way is not that easy to define and follow.

In our training sessions and programs we support your process with precise and wholesome analysis, consultation and planning.

    Puzzle piece by puzzle piece.

Always with the idea of a healthy and sustainable process that fits into your life while setting you up to achieve your goals with maximum probability.

On top of the results, we’ll always take care that you’ll experience a joyful and motivating process in the greatest sport we know.

ALTIORA TRAINING

  • Climbing is a very complex sport. Therefore, it can be a bit tricky to navigate and know what (and how) to improve. Very often people have blind corners and train in wrong, less than ideal, or even harmful directions. Stagnation, overtraining or even injuries are pretty frequent.

A precise and wholesome evaluation by an experienced and objective person is an absolute key to start or restart a effective training period.

We have various options to do that: a SMARTBOARD Assessment PLUS, but also remote options in different intensities. It depends slightly on your situation / location.
The key factor to all options is: you will have live contact with a coach with hundreds of assessments under his belt, not a sheet to fill out.

After the Performance Evaluation, you’ll know pretty precise about your strengths and weaknesses, what to work on and what to maintain.

The next logical step after the evaluation is our training consultation and planing.

  • We have to open up here with a maybe a bit controversial point:

We don’t believe in highly standardized and extremely detailed training plans for most climbers. What? Let’s try to explain that here from the point for whom they work.

They work for competition climbers or other highly professional athletes or at least for people who can structure their life’s around their climbing. We do respect those people a ton, don’t get us wrong here. Their example just doesn’t work for 90% of our customers.

For the majority of people, standardized and too detailed plans are stressful, very often counterproductive and benefit the company who does them more than the client. For the companies, it’s great, because that’s how you can scale your business!

We have personally tried two different companies: one (the benchmark on the market) rejected us very politely because our case was to complicated and the other gave a plan that we couldn’t follow for more than a week. Refund? No way. 800€ for a useless excel sheet and nice demo-videos…

We made the conscious decision to go a different path:

Instead of making only training plans, we want to develop a competence and skill to train. We will explain to you which puzzle pieces you need to work with and how to fit them together. You will learn about the principles and parameters that make a training process work and we’ll be there if necessary.

If you want, we can make you a rough plan as a guideline, but you’ll never be a slave to it and you’ll climb enough on the way, pinky promise. There are a few aspects of training though, that can be delivered in a nearly standardised format and they should be part of your structure.

  • Everybody is different, and especially your needs as a climber are very different.

After your request and our short, free and non-binding consultation, we will prepare an offer for you.

Our price range lies between 95 € per 1 hour with a trainer and 1800 € for a full 12-month package.

  • In addition to the performance evaluation and consultation offers, we have one type of deal that will offer you a completely different level of interaction.
You’ll basically have a „trainer in your pocket“ (TIYP).

Obviously with a limited amount of customers we are able handle, we offer a long term „care“ for your climbing.

After the assessment and training consultation, you can send in monthly up to 5 videos of your climbing, bouldering or training for detailed analysis. You will have the opportunity to have direct contact via phone or WhatsApp (5x) and there is one fixed one hour meeting per month (ZOOM etc.).

Before a TIYP deal, we’ll have to have a evaluation of some sort to have an idea what we’re working with.

As we only have limited capacity for personalised program like TIYP, to give you the best care possible, this model is only available as a 3, 6 or 12 month deal.

    • TIYP 3m > 600 €

    • TIYP 6m > 1000 €

    • TIYP 12m > 1800 €
